Australian Expedition Vehicles (AEV) is a unique company that has both the expertise and experience in house to undertake a wide range of automotive engineering tasks. 

AEV has the capability utilising approved Brake Test Equipment (RACELOGIC VB2SX 10HZ) for ADR 31 and 35 (Light and heavy vehicles)

AEV is known for their 6WD Conversions which AEV developed with Jmacx Off Road Solutions and the VDJ79 Coil Conversions.

AEV’s additional services offered include GVM Upgrade, Lift Kit Installation, Long Range Fuel Tank Install and Certification, Automatic Gearbox Conversions, Chassis Extensions, Engineering and much more. 

The Managing Director, Michael McMillan MSc (MVT), BEng (Mech), MIEAust, CPENG and in Queensland a Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ).  Michael has 30 years Australian Army Service and during this time has completed field testing on Military Equipment in some of the world’s harshest environments as well as completing his Master of Engineering in the UK.

AEV has the capability to undertake, both design and testing, utilising ANSYS software for Finite Element Analysis of components, as part of a submission for Approvals to State and Federal statutory bodies.

AEV is a Licensed Production Facility registered with the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Services.
