AWE2018 welcomes CONTACT as a Media Partner. It's an honour to be working with CONTACT and its founder and editor Brian Hartigan a Veteran of the Military and the industry.
CONTACT reports on the people, platforms and operations of the world’s defence forces, particularly Australia. It is dedicated to presenting stories, photos and video that capture the essence of serving-members’ lives – as far as possible in their own words.
But CONTACT is more than just Australia’s best boots-on-the-ground military magazine – it also encompasses a fortnightly newsletter, daily news web site, Facebook community, YouTube channel and more.
And, best of all, subscribing is free.
Brian Hartigan is the CONTACT's managing editor and company founder (2003). He is also still serving in the Army Reserve as a sergeant, after doing 12 years in the full-time Army. He also spent five years as a photographer with the Australian Federal Police. So, with years of experience in both the military and law-enforcement sandboxes, Brian knows his subject and his audience – our audience – pretty well.
